Ajrakh begins with a stamp and a resist, layer laid over layer until deep indigo and madder red settle into their final pattern. Many of our Ajrakh Heritage kaftans and dresses are block printed by hand in the craft clusters of Kutch, carrying the small irregularities of a hand stamped cloth, no two lengths fall exactly the same. Wear it loose and layered, or as an easy throw over evening wear.
